Council President Pro Tem Smitherman invites community members to Titusville Cultural Center ribbon cutting today

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new Titusville Cultural Center campus at 5 p.m. today, located at 222 6th Ave. SW, Birmingham, AL
The campus will house two schools, Build Up and AWAKE Community School, along with an athletic facility to accommodate A4One training. The focus of these organizations is to provide learning opportunities and athletic training for the area’s youth.
“It’s a great day to welcome this amazing new cultural center to District 6 and the Titusville neighborhood,” Council President Pro Tem Crystal Smitherman said.
“These groups are looking to provide services and resources that can have a transformational impact in our community and I look forward to working with them on future initiatives.”
When: Monday, October 10th at 5 p.m.
