Wednesday, May 1st: Kick-off to Historic Preservation Month, Reception celebrating over 30 years of
service for the Birmingham Historical Commission; this event will feature a chat with two founding
members, Gallery of Distinguished Citizens, Birmingham City Hall

Thursday, May 9th: Historic Walking Tour of Vulcan Park (Meet us in front of Vulcan Statue)
Wednesday, May 15: Historic Walking Tour of the Civil Rights National Monument & 4th Avenue Historic
District
